Iโ€™ve been training for around 5/6 years on and off and in that time she has lost around 30kg (keep in mind sheโ€™s barely 5 foot which is wild)

We have probably laughed more than weโ€™ve trained but I maintain that this has been a huge part of why sheโ€™s been consistent, itโ€™s not been about punishing herself for days off or food eaten. Itโ€™s been about doing the best she can, when she can.

The main thing with Kate is I believe she demonstrates what it really means to be someone who just wants balance in their life and doesnโ€™t want to make training and nutrition everything.

She has trained twice a week and only twice a week for a considerable amount of time and still finds ways to fit the nuggets at the servo into her macros.

Kate has found a way to navigate training and nutrition so that it feels like a PART of her life, not her WHOLE LIFE.

Vertical/Horizontal pressing is generally included in every program but HOW and WHEN to include it is usually the most important detail.

Applications within sports performance might see us focus on unilateral/explosive intentions, though we would still do so in those directions.

On the other side of things someone might be looking to use more tempo, increase difficulty within the variation being used or even apply more volume and so much load that the intentions of explosiveness are almost hard to substantiate at all.

No matter what, the EXERCISE and the DIRECTION in which we press still remain the same. Focus on movement patterns and intentions, what you use to achieve objectives through those things can vary substantially ๐Ÿง

Our adults semi private classes are the ideal place for people to experience a high standard of coaching in a class setting in a private facility.

Attending the class you get access to our well fitted out facility with programming delivered in an app on your phone allowing you to progress at your own pace while still having a coach on the gym floor teaching you how to train effectively.

Often entering a big commercial gym can be overwhelming due to the volume of people, our classes are capped to keep things personal and allow you to get awesome results minus the chaos of large gyms.

Visual cues are something we use in coaching and are more often than not our go to as a lot of people can be receptive to this method of learning.

Though, they are many different ways people learn and this is just one we use at our facility to help our athletes get the most out of their training ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ“Š

New Equipment! ๐Ÿ™Œ

A GHD (Glute-Ham Developer) hyperextension machine is great for targeting and strengthening the posterior chain, particularly the glutes, hamstrings and lower back.

It can increase athletic performance by building strength in key muscle groups responsible for bending, lifting, and explosive movements. It also contributes to injury prevention, especially in the lower back and hamstrings.
