With the combination of particular movements and your awareness on your breathing, you can experience meditation in motion.
Tai Chi exercises gently stretch your whole body, relieving tension, which helps you to relax.
When we are relaxed our energy can flow through our body easier, energising and strengthening our body, mind and spirit.
One conscious breathe in and out, is a meditation.
Tai Chi has its challenges, so remember the Chinese saying:
“There is not much time left, so is very important that we slow down”

Simply put, our meridians are ‘energy highways’ in the human body. Energy (Chi) flows through these meridians, accessing all parts of the body. They flow within the body and not on the surface, meridians exist in corresponding pairs (Yin and Yang) and each meridian has many acupuncture points along its path.
Meridians themselves are often described as ‘channels’ or even ‘vessels’ which reflects the notion of carrying, holding, or transporting Chi, blood and fluids around the body.
It is more useful to consider the meridian system as an energetic distribution network, energetic manifestation. They can be best understood as a process rather than a structure.
Any blockages in this system may be caused by stress, bad diet, drug or alcohol abuse, injury, trauma, etc. and can be related to the cause of all health issues. It is the energy flow that conditions our overall existence; how we think, how we feel, how our body moves. Everything.
Traditionally, acupressure and acupuncture were the mainstay meridian therapies for healing and energy balancing. With practice and patience Tai Chi and Gi Gong exercises can help you relax, increasing the flow of energy, energizing and strengthening your whole body, mind and spirit.
