We thought you'd like to know what's happening, so here goes!

After much thinking, talking, researching and looking within, Women at One Inc will be temporarily closed while we restructure into a much-needed AuDHD Resource Hub, created by AuDHD women, for AuDHD women.

I created WAOinc to follow what I believe is my true purpose.

To create a world where everyone feels valued, where everyone feels free, and confident, to be themselves so they can rejoice in their own individuality and unleash the potential of their own unique story and view of the world.

Our resource hub will provide support, awareness, and advocacy for all self-identified and professionally diagnosed neurodivergent women — locally and across Western Australia.

So this is not a goodbye — it’s a rebuild, for all AuDHD women so we can live our best life!

Thank you for your patience, trust, and continued support while we build something truly needed 💜 We’ll share updates as we go.

Yep, I agree to most of this. Add in Autism where I generally crave the exact opposite. Oh, is this what Ying & Yang means? Yes, I’m trying to be funny 🙄

There is still so much to learn & we are the trail blazers to change the future for all that sit in the neuro space. Share your lived experience whenever & to whoever you can, ask more questions, demand answers, live your best life according to you 🥰

*Full transparency-this post may trigger some emotions-please be safe & reach out to someone or be in your safe space when reading 🙏 There is a point to it all though, I have a ‘aha’ moment in self-love ❤️

I’ve always struggled with the concept of self-love as I can go from zero love to absolute adoration at any given time.

At ‘zero’ I’m seen as blunt, rude, difficult and lacking empathy. I am here because I have shut my self down, more than likey because I have been hurt by someone directly or indirectly. Even I cant always pin point what happened unless I spend lots of time analysing.

At ‘adoration’ I’m seen as weird, emotional, stupid and the person moves away from me because I’m too much to handle. And I dont mean only a few steps, sometimes it’s out of my life completely.

So I started trying to understand how to connect in way that others connect to their siblings or children. I can’t seem to find or feel this connection that some people have with having a close relationship with another sibling or having children.

It has been a lonely existence living this way and also tiring trying to find why I cant find it or have it. I always kept blaming myself that I had something missing, I was less human than others and not complete. Maybe that part was left out because I was born early and it didnt get put in?

Whenever I would hear the concept of self-love, I would just roll my eyes, look like I’m listening and wait for the discussion to be over…..

Until this morning when I got past the ‘rolling of the eyes’ and I began to understand his view point & started to open up to the possibility of Mathew Husseys ‘self-love’ concept.

💡 I think I get it now, at least I’m going to try it out and see how it fits for a while. I might have to watch it a few more times to remember and understand it again, and thats ok, cause it’s my journey and I deserve and want to live my best life how it looks to me and no-one else.

If you’ve gotten to here, thank you for being interested enough to read my perspective. I hope you also find a ‘aha’ moment in this video 🙏

Onwards & upwards always 🥰
