A little glimpse into the beautiful chaos of Mums & Bubs Yoga 💛

While the mums stretch, breathe and reconnect with their bodies… the babies roll, wriggle, explore, play and make themselves right at home 🥹

This is one of our signature interactive classes at Evolvere, designed for both mum and baby together.

The first half of the class focuses on gentle postnatal recovery for mum, including deep core work, mobility, stretching and rebuilding strength after birth.

The second half is all about baby ✨
Through guided movement, stretching, rolling, sensory play and gentle exercises, we support baby’s motor development, body awareness, coordination and growing little brains.

Over 60 and still learning, still getting stronger, still proving that movement is something we get to enjoy for life 🫶

One of our favourite things to do in Pregnancy Yoga or Pilates…🥁🥁🥁

Rolling out the glutes with the massage ball against the wall 💪🍑

And it’s not just because it feels amazing…

As baby grows, the glutes and deep hip muscles can become incredibly tight from the extra load, posture changes and pelvic instability. Tight glutes can contribute to lower back pain, hip discomfort, sciatic irritation and that heavy “everything feels tight” pregnancy feeling.

But there’s another important reason we do it almost every class… your glutes and pelvic floor are closely connected. They’re neighbours and work together as part of your deep support system. When the glutes are constantly gripping and tense, the pelvic floor often follows. Releasing the glutes can help the pelvic floor soften, relax and function more efficiently too ✨

It can also help:
• improve pelvic mobility
• reduce tension around the sacrum and hips
• improve comfort in standing, walking and sleep
• prepare the body for birth by encouraging both strength AND release

Plus… it just feels SO good 😅
