Celebrating Dr Peter Barratt’s retirement.

After 43 years of dedicated service to the veterinary industry and 31 of those spent at MCVH, Peter has decided to retire from Marlin Coast Vet Hospital.

We are incredibly grateful for Peter’s contributions and hard work and he will be greatly missed. Join us in wishing Peter all the best for this next chapter.

Unfortunately we have had a deceased Male black entire cat brought in. He has no microchip.
He was found around Warren street in palm cove.

AFTER HOURS ANNOUNCEMENT

As of Friday, 5th December 2025 until Monday 12th January 2026, please be advised due to staff shortages we currently are unable to offer an after hours emergency service.

For all after hour emergencies, please call the
CAIRNS 24/7 EMERGENCY VET, located on Anderson Street on 4015 3459.

Our clinic hours are:
Monday to Friday 8.00 AM to 7.00 PM
Saturday 8.00 AM to 3.00 PM
