Our founder, Julie Dayrit, BSc, is a Master of Applied Science student in biochemistry at Saint Mary’s University.

🔬She has been studying the potential of 'good' bacteria and medicinal plants to produce antimicrobials, one of the important solutions and defense against bacteria that can cause disease to humans.

👨‍👩‍👧She is also a mother of a 16 month-old toddler.

🚨Exciting News!! 📰HerBiome Skincare Secures 1st Place in Pitching Competition Event as part of Study and Stay Program hosted by

🥇 HerBiome Skincare has emerged as the winner of the 1st place in a highly competitive pitching competition organized by the Study and Stay Program at Saint Mary's University. This achievement was accomplished during the Summer Entrepreneurial Experience program, which took place from May 17 to August 2. The program offers aspiring student entrepreneurs a transformative learning experience and a conducive environment to focus on developing their own businesses, with access to valuable resources.

👩‍⚖️ The pitching competition proved to be an intense battle, with 13 teams vying for the top spot and a prize money of $20,000. Each participant had precisely 2 minutes to present their pitch, followed by a Q&A session with the esteemed Judging Panel, consisting of Singh, and .amber

In a remarkable turn of events, there was a four-way tie for 1st place, with HerBiome Skincare Inc. being one of the victorious teams, alongside Adrigo Insights , Xu, and Vaishali Sachdeva. The shared 1st spot earned each team a substantial reward of $4,000.
