We believe the best care starts with the best training. That’s why Parkwood Home Care is hosting essential Dementia Care Classes for our care pros! 🧠🛠️

Our focus is on providing compassionate, person-centered care using proven techniques like the PAC GEMS States model. We train our team to move beyond seeing "what is wrong" to recognizing the unique GEMS (like Sapphires or Diamonds) that reflect a person's remaining abilities.

These vital sessions are led by our own certified nurse, Carol, who is dedicated to equipping our caregivers with the practical skills and knowledge needed to truly connect with and support those living with dementia. 💚
