Mission Statement

Offering individual and group Art Therapy services rooted in theory and offered in an atmosphere of unconditional acceptance, including onsite and mobile art therapy interventions, workshops and consultation across the spectrum of the human conditions experienced by the diverse populations of Nova Scotia. Expressive arts are a life enhancing catalyst for healing; clients experience heightened creativity and life enrichment while resolving and integrating conflict, contributing to both individual and community well-being.

The cry of a gull, the swirl of seaweed led by the gentle flow of the tide, the rustle of foliage stirred in the breeze.

Today I took time to honour this land and those who have stewarded it's beauty, submerging myself in the waters of K'jipanu'pek, allowing myself to be rocked in the waves, pressed my feet to the ground as I walked the path.

The last few months have marked many shifts in my practice. I am transitioning to less mobile work and have begun working out of a counselling centre - Herring Cove Counselling Centre - minutes from where I grew up, and close enough to the Look Off for grounding moments at the coast between clients
