Yesterday was a reminder of how lucky I am to do what I do. Had the honour of checking the spine and nervous system of a beautiful nine day old newborn (no adjustment needed!)🩵.

🩵 We probably don’t mention often enough that both of us have extra training in paediatrics and pregnancy care for little ones and expecting mothers through the internationally acclaimed ICPA.

🩵By way of existing patients, lactation consultants and neonatal nurses at the IWK, we see quite a few babies and children but want to do a better job at letting more people know we offer a drugless, non invasive option for many childhood conditions and ensuring children are at their very best!

🩵 Of course, paediatric adjustments and techniques look quite different than those we use with our adult clients.

🩵Some of the common reasons why parents bring their children in to see us in addition to just a checkup, include: torticollis, inability to comfortably do ‘tummy time’, sleeping issues, latching issues, asymmetry in crawling, not meeting milestones.
