A huge shoutout to Deborah Stewart on completing her Advanced Nursing Foot Care training! 👏✨

Watching her grow in skill and confidence has been such a joy. She picked up new techniques quickly, showed genuine compassion with every client, and brought such a positive energy to every learning opportunity. It’s clear she has a natural talent for this work and a heart that truly cares for people.

HRM is so lucky to be gaining such a dedicated, kind, and hardworking nurse into the foot care community. I can’t wait to watch her continue to grow and thrive in this field, she’s going to do amazing things! 💙 🧡👣

Reminding us that skin cancer can also appear on the feet, toes, and under the nails.

Use the ABCDE rule when checking moles or spots:
🔹A = Asymmetry
🔹B = Border irregularity
🔹C = Colour changes
🔹D = Diameter over 6mm
🔹E = Evolving over time

Take a moment to inspect your feet this month. Early detection can save lives. If you notice anything new or changing, have it assessed by a qualified professional.

Today we did our first presentation to a group of CCA students on the importance of foot hygiene and care. I’ve always been terrified of public speaking but when I was asked to do this I did not hesitate for a second and quickly agreed! Now that the first one has been done and the nerves have simmered, I am so excited for another one!
