To be surrounded by smiling, laughing souls who light up the room — that was the magic at the Grand Opening of Fully Align Studio just a couple of weeks ago. ✨

The buzz was, and still is, real! I am so grateful for the support, the excitement, and the incredible people who have been walking through our doors since the event.

If you missed the Open House, I’d love to welcome you in personally. Our hours aren’t at full capacity yet, so it’s a perfect time to reach out and plan a visit... I promise you’ll leave with a smile (maybe even a permanent one, like mine 😀).

Most Tuesday evenings, I offer a little something to bring you back to your Calm Point and help you feel grounded… a little or a lot!

✨ Story Time Monday! ✨

There are times when you think all is crumbling around you. This is my crumbling moment into trust.

I was three months behind rent with an 18-year-old in high school at the house and not sure how I was going to continue to pay for the simple basics. The last Friday of the month, I received a phone call from my landlord letting me know that if I did not have one month’s rent by Saturday noon, they would be evicting me.

I had no resources; I did not know where to turn and I was mentally and frantically using all kinds of brain energy to figure out how I was going to live with my 18-year-old in a car on the street because there were no extra funds to find anywhere.

I had, however, been following my heart to the best of my ability. Working what I could and continuing to do some inner work (breathing, meditation etc…) that would keep me sane (until the moments where it didn’t) and continually nudging myself to back to me and my inner connection.

That Friday night, I was home, in my bedroom and I started crying and let myself go. Suddenly, I heard the word TRUST out of nowhere ere. I flung back on my bed and said “ok… but I don’t know how or what to do” After that moment, I brought myself back together and focused on being grounded and in the moment. Easier said than done, but I managed in moments.

To my surprise, the next morning, at 11am, I received a phone call with the words “Do you need help with rent this month?) and I just about lost it. This guardian angel, who has been there through a lot of my journey since 2018 was on on the other end of the line.

It was a huge lesson in trust, to simply let go and believe on that Friday night. Since then, I have literally changed much of the way I flow in life. I trust myself so much more, I know the Universe has my back and even in the moments of chaos (as there were many more after that), I know there is good to come.

Trusting all parts of me, the good, cute and not so cute, trusting my body, trusting those around me as my body guides me to them and 100% trusting the Universe have been a profound evolution in my life and I absolutely wish it for all.

When it comes to support, there is no right, easy, amazing way around asking for support. It might land in your lap, it might find its way to you in small doses which are just enough to get you to the next bigger support puzzle you need. It might be easy to ask or it might way too hard. It might be soft love or tough love that pushes you to find/recieve support. Embrace the one moment of support that will help shift things!

Back in 2017, when I arrived from Costa Rica, separating from a 27 year marriage and realizing I had come back to financial crisis, asking for support was not the go-to that I was wishing for. I just wanted to hide under a rock and not surface for a while.

I was unaware of the full on crisis I had come home to and it shook me. I was a single mama, returned with my kids to Canada and needed to figure things out. Yet... I found myself in fetal position on my sister's couch just watching the day go by.

She gently said to me at some point : "Put your sneakers on and go for a walk." This is when I completely ignored her gentle push to support me in that moment. She said it again "A walk will do you some good, get you out of your head and moving" to which I might have grunted something but I don't remember what. And then the tough love nudge followed. "Put your sneakers on and go outside, it will help you shake things off change your thoughts," said in a more direct tone.

So I did. And... it felt good. It got me out of my funk, helped clear parts of my brain and when I came back I had a not-so-pleasant solution to a problem but a solution that I knew needed to take place. One of those harder conversations.

That one moment of support - the nudge, the push... was the first baby step action to a domino of more. It didn't take much from her in that moment but she did take the time to say what she felt needed to be said from her heart. And it worked...

If you are the one looking for support or the one getting the nudge to support in a bigger capacity space or a baby step space, follow that nudge. The world of difference it can make to someone, is unknown until the action is taken.

I still tell this story! The impact was huge.

In 2013, I moved to Costa Rica. Over the next 4 years I spent lots of time exploring the diverse landscapes of Central America.In the lush rainforests of Costa Rica, there stood a magnificent tree, towering above all others. Its branches reached high into the sky, but its roots were where its true story lay.

Deep underground, those roots intertwined with the surrounding trees, forming a vast, unseen network. These connections were not visible to the eye, but they were essential. Each tree relied on the strength and nourishment shared by this network, thriving not just as individuals but as a community.

Much like in Family Constellations, this tree symbolized the hidden dynamics within relationships. Though each individual might seem independent, they are all connected by deep roots—shared experiences, histories, and emotions.

Sometimes, those hidden connections carry burdens from the past, shaping the way the collective grows. But just as the trees in the rainforest nourish and support each other, so too can people find healing by acknowledging these invisible ties.

One day, a fierce storm swept through the forest, bending trees and tearing at their branches. While some trees struggled alone, the interconnected ones stood strong, their roots holding fast to one another. After the storm passed, the great tree stood taller than ever, a testament to the strength of its unseen bonds.

In Family Constellations, we learn that by acknowledging and understanding the hidden ties within our relationships, we can find balance and healing, just as the trees of Costa Rica find strength through their deep-rooted connections.
