Mercury Retrograde: Disruption or Divine Opportunity?

Mercury retrograde is a fascinating celestial event when the planet Mercury appears to move backward in the sky from our vantage point on Earth. While it's an optical illusion, the energetic effects are widely felt.

This period is often linked to miscommunications, travel delays, and unexpected technical hiccups. Emails go missing, plans change without warning, and misunderstandings can arise out of nowhere. It’s no wonder Mercury retrograde gets a bad reputation!

But there’s another side to this cosmic slowdown.

Mercury retrograde invites us to pause, reflect, and reassess. It’s a powerful time to revisit unfinished projects, reconnect with people from our past, and realign with what truly matters. Rather than pushing forward, this is a time to look inward and gently recalibrate.

Instead of fearing this phase, consider embracing it. What messages are being revealed through the disruptions? What patterns are resurfacing that you’re now ready to heal?

Mercury retrograde isn’t here to punish us—it’s here to guide us.

This summer’s Mercury retrograde moves through the bold and expressive sign of Leo, turning our attention toward themes of creativity, romance, and self-worth.

Expect potential challenges in expressing yourself clearly, especially in personal or romantic relationships. Misunderstandings may arise when it comes to matters of the heart or confidence in your talents.

But this retrograde also offers a beautiful opportunity to:

Reflect on creative projects that may have been put on hold
Revisit past romantic connections (with care and discernment)
Re-evaluate your self-image and inner narrative
Ask yourself: Where have I dimmed my light? What creative passion have I ignored? Am I valuing myself as I deserve to be valued?
