Calf cramps can be more than just a quick annoyance. They can interrupt exercise, walking, sleep, and day-to-day movement.

A mix of calf stretching and ankle mobility work may help reduce tightness through the lower leg and improve how the area moves. These stretches are simple, practical, and easy to add into a general mobility routine.

New to these stretches? Start slowly and ease off if anything feels painful.

If calf cramps happen often, keep coming back, or start affecting your daily activities 👉 a Lifemark physiotherapist can help identify possible contributing factors and recommend treatment based on your needs. Book at a clinic near you across Canada: https://tinyurl.com/wnp6efbv

Neck pain after a long day on your phone or laptop is easy to brush off, but your posture during screen time can put more demand on your neck than many people realize. 🤳🏼

The farther forward your head moves, the more your neck and upper back have to take on. Over time, that repeated strain can show up as stiffness, soreness, tension, or what many people call tech neck. 🧑‍💻📱

A physiotherapist can help identify what may be contributing to your discomfort and build a treatment plan around your symptoms, routine, and movement needs. Depending on the issue, that may include targeted exercises, mobility work, posture education, strengthening, and hands-on treatment where appropriate.

If scrolling, texting, or desk work is leaving your neck feeling tight or sore, it may be time to check in with a physiotherapist. 👉 Book an appointment near you: https://tinyurl.com/4p2ssbrb

Looking for ways to start building core awareness with diastasis recti? Here are four gentle exercises you can try:

🔷 Core activation with heel slide
🔶 Purpose: Improves deep abdominal recruitment, builds motor control for early-stage core rehab, and is an early exercise to try for postpartum, diastasis recti, and low back rehab

🔷 Core activation with bent-knee fall-out
🔶 Purpose: Helps improve pelvic stability and transversus abdominis activation while controlling hip movement, emphasizing anti-rotation control of the pelvis

🔷 Dead bug
🔶 Purpose: Challenges the ability to maintain a neutral spine, bring your hips and knees up to 90 and point your arms toward the ceiling

🔷 Side plank with clamshell
🔶 Purpose: Helps improve lateral core stability with hip abductor strengthening, targeting the gluteus medius, obliques, and deep core muscles

⚠️ Disclaimer: These exercises are a general guideline and do not replace seeing a pelvic health physiotherapist for an individualized assessment. If you're unsure about completing these exercises, please consult a healthcare professional before trying them.
