🎓 Welcome Back, CRTP Trainees! Let’s Kick Off Fall with Genomics & Oncology

A big welcome back to all Atlantic Canadian CRTP trainees starting their Fall Semester this week! As you dive into another season of learning and discovery, we’re excited to share an opportunity designed for clinical researchers, researcher scientists, post–doctoral fellows, and graduate students with cancer genomics research projects.

This 1.5-day, hands-on workshop will equip you with the bioinformatics skills needed to tackle real-world oncology challenges. Learn to interpret genomic data, apply clinical workflows, and explore case studies that bridge research and patient care.

Applications Are Now Open for the 2025 Jen Johnston Prize for Research Excellence!

The Jen Johnston Prize for Research Excellence recognizes excellence in CRTP trainee research with the aim of encouraging CRTP trainees to establish careers in cancer research.

The 2025 Prize will be awarded for Discovery/Fundamental research and the recipient will be invited to present their published research at a BHCRI-organized event and be featured on BHCRI's website and social media.
