Spring is technically here, but it’s felt like a long season of waiting for the warmth to catch up. Which maybe mirrors where I’m at in life at the moment.

This week the sun has finally come out, and I notice what that does for the trees, the flowers, and for myself - encouraging us all to grow, unfurl, blossom, and bloom, in our own perfect timing.

And I’m reminded, that nature doesn’t wait for the right moment, it just is. Here’s our permission slip to follow suit. Blossom, even when you don’t feel ready. Bloom just because you are.

Tell me — what’s one small thing quietly opening up for you right now? 🌸

Blankets on the line, hearts a little lighter, and souls a little softer. 💖

I’m beyond grateful for the women who came to meet themselves yesterday. Together, we paused, reflected, and let go of what we’ve been carrying through these long winter months.

Like the crocus that blooms in early spring, we’re here for a reason. Even when life feels heavy, we still find a way to flourish. 🌸

There’s something so powerful about women breathing together. The synchronicities that arise when we meet ourselves in truth and authenticity remind me that we’re never alone.

Here’s to the gentle moments that help us return to ourselves. 🌿

And as I continue to integrate the experience, I invite you to ask yourself:
✨ What have you done for yourself lately?
✨ How can you create space to meet yourself, exactly where you are?

This is what spring looks like - blue skies, clothes on the line, and the smell of fresh air.

But as beautiful as it seems, there’s always more beneath the surface.

Getting here wasn’t easy.
Sick kids.
Interrupted sleep.
Worry.
My immune system working overtime.
Laundry upon laundry.
And a broken washing line that forced a pivot.

Yet there’s something powerful that unfolds when we meet ourselves right where we are.
When we stop pushing through or making it wrong.
When we allow ourselves to feel what we need and still find the beauty in the moment.

If you’re ready to meet yourself where you are, join us this Friday for an in-person Breathwork Mastery experience.
Two spaces left.
DM me for details.

What if breathwork didn’t have to be intense to be transformative?

For anyone in Halifax curious about a different kind of breathwork, I’ll be guiding an in-person Breathwork Mastery session on April 24 at 10am in Prospect.

This isn’t about pushing or forcing emotional release. It’s about being met exactly as you are, held in the safety of your psyche’s own knowing, and supported by a facilitator who continues to walk this path herself.

If you’ve been craving a space to reconnect with your breath, your body, and your inner knowing, this is for you.

✨ Limited spots available to ensure everyone gets the support they need.

Sometimes it takes a child’s wonder to remind us how to really see the world again.

The sun finally came out this weekend after what’s felt like the longest winter. My kids and I went for a walk - no bikes, no scooters, no friends - just us, exploring.

There was something different about it. A genuine curiosity for what’s beginning to blossom all around us. We found an app that identifies plants, even from tiny sprouts. My daughter took the lead, spotting new life, while my son found out what each one was. They even made a list of everything they’d discovered.

Somewhere between their excitement and the soft warmth of the sun, I felt it - the reminder I needed to slow down, be present, and notice the beauty in the life we’re already living.

Maybe it can be that reminder for you too. 🌱

Motherhood cracked me open in ways I never expected, and it taught me what real presence feels like.

For years, I lived in my head, always striving to get it right, to do more, to be more. I’d ticked all the boxes, yet deep down, something still felt missing.

When I became a mother, everything shifted. My priorities changed, but so did my capacity. Even with over 15 years of experience in psychology and perinatal mental health, I found myself overwhelmed in ways I hadn’t expected. I’d always been independent and high-functioning, but suddenly, that wasn’t enough. From the outside, it looked like I was managing, but inside, I knew I wasn’t truly showing up in my life.

That’s when I realised that awareness from the mind alone wasn’t enough. Real change happens when we include the body too.

That’s what led me to Breathwork Mastery (RBM), a gentle practice about meeting yourself where you are. No force, no pressure, just presence.

Learning about my Human Design as a 4/6 Manifesting Generator felt like permission to be who I already am. It helped me understand my energy, my rhythms, and why I’m drawn to share what I learn as I go.

Now, I support women who feel disconnected or overwhelmed to slow down, breathe deeper, and come home to themselves - without pushing, proving, or burning out.

Here, you’ll find reflections and practices around breath, body, and being. A space to soften, reconnect, and remember that you already have everything you need within you.

If that speaks to you, you’re in the right place. We’re walking this path together.

If you’ve seen breathwork pop up on your social media, you quickly get the picture - cry, shake, scream, big emotional release for the win.

But what I’ve learned is that true healing happens when your nervous system feels safe enough to let go, not when it’s pushed to.

I’ve been in sessions where the goal seemed to be a huge release - tears, shaking, catharsis. And while that can be powerful, it never felt quite right for me.

In those spaces, there were times my body went there, but my nervous system wasn’t actually ready. I didn’t feel safe enough for what was unfolding. And I’ve seen others have similar experiences - opening up deep layers, then being left to process it alone.

That’s why I practise and share Breathwork Mastery RBM. It’s a gentle, parasympathetic style of breathwork that signals safety to your nervous system. There’s no force, no pressure, no pushing for an outcome.

I meet you exactly where you are. Your body already knows how to let go - my role is simply to create the conditions for it to happen naturally, when and in a way that you’re ready for.

And have I had big sessions? Yes. But the difference has been that my body was ready, willing, and safe enough to go there, within a relationship that felt truly supportive. That’s a game changer.

I’ve also had the most subtle sessions that have led to the most dramatic shifts in my life. There’s no one-size-fits-all.

If breathwork has ever felt like too much, this approach might be what your nervous system has been craving. You can experience it in my fortnightly online sessions, or work with me more deeply one-to-one. Follow along to learn more about this gentler, safer way to breathe.
