Bubbles & Balms Helps You Feel Outrageously Comfortable in Dry & Sensitive Skin. Bubbles & Balms was born in our founders, Judith and Justin’s kitchen.

Judith fell in love with using raw and natural ingredients to create homemade soap bars. She was drawn to the calming experience of working with essential oil aromas. Using natural products gave Judith’s sensitive skin newfound comfort. Their cupboards bursting with soap bars, they sold their first products at a local farmers market. With sensitive skin being underrepresented in many product lines, Judith and Justin quickly found a community for their growing line of beautifully smelling products that are naturally gentle on sensitive skin. Now, Bubbles & Balms now produces over 40 oil-based cosmetics. Each product is still handcrafted from raw and natural ingredients. As a family-owned and operated business, a lot of our time is dedicated towards making the right decisions. From sourcing ethical and sustainable ingredients to our compostable packaging, a lot of care goes into everything we do.

This is why we include lots of moisturizing ingredients in our bars. There are more moisturizing ingredients in each bar than can be turned into soap, so these remaining 'unsaponified' nutrients stay on the skin and help to reduce the drying effect. 😍

Our Story

We are a husband and wife led team who are driven to rid bathing of toxins and plastics. We've offered our toxin-free bathing and body care products since our founding in 2014. Our products are crafted scentless or with essential oils | never fragrance, and we never include glitters or other micro-plastics. Open communication with our customers during formulation and testing of has helped us to create some of the finest handcrafted bathing products available in Canada.

We want to become 100% plastic free as well, and have stripped plastics from our soaps, shampoo bars, bath and body bombs, bubbles truffles, gift packages, gift bags, and shipping materials. We’re not at 100%, but we will get there by continuing to reach for a little bit better each day. We believe that our part in stopping our global plastic pollution problem is being an example of stopping it from entering the marketplace.
