Elizabeth "Beth" Margaret Kent passed away at Killam Long Term Care, Killam, Alberta on August 17, 2025 at the age of 66 years.
Beth was the only child of Noel and Betty Kent. She will be dearly missed by the Kent family and her caring communities.
The Graveside Service for Beth will be held at the Irwinville Cemetery, Near Marwayne, AB on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 2:00 PM.
Beth was one of the purest souls we’ve ever known. She was simple, yes — but in the most beautiful, unfiltered way. Her kindness wasn’t performative; it was simply who she was.
Beth may not have had the independence we hoped for, and she faced many barriers not of her own making, but Beth loved her home full of garden flowers, animals and memories. She had a deep affection for the dogs, cats, fowls and especially her horse,Trixie.
Her bond with her father remained steadfast, even after his passing. She often repeated the things he used to say, holding onto his words and presence with a quiet loyalty that spoke volumes. We were always amazed by her incredible memory — she never forgot a birthday, anniversary, or even the date of a loved one’s passing. She held the details of our family like a living archive, with love and care.
Her faith was also a steady part of her life. Her connection to the United Church grounded her in community, comfort, and hope.
We take comfort knowing that Beth is now at peace, held in God’s loving arms.
