As a yogi, a dream came true today. Visited a Buddhist temple and a female monk lead a two hour meditation. She spent the first hour teaching and chanting about the five precepts of Buddhism and guiding us in breathing techniques. Second hour, she taught body scanning through breathing. She offered blessings with string bracelets for our wrists (to be left on for three days). When we arrived at the temple, we lite coconut oil and incense and gave flowers as offerings to Buddha.
