ustee and family, the deceased is transferred from the place of death to the crematorium. The cremated remains are returned to the estate trustee at a time that is suitable for them. Susan will complete the required death registration with the Province of Ontario, secure the Coroner's Cremation Certificate, and file the Canada Pension Plan Death and Survivors Benefits (if qualified). Old Age Security, Social Insurance Number, Ontario Health Insurance Plan and Ontario Driver's Licence will be rendered inactive as part of her service to you. LeClair Cremation Centre Inc. will provide you with unlimited death certificates to assist the estate settling process. Do you require assistance with a death announcement? Are you not sure how to receive memorial donations from friends or family? Help is always available. Today more and more families are choosing to create their own Celebration of Life instead of having a traditional funeral. does not host public events but simply provides alternative options such as a church, country club, recreation centre, local park, etc. (with or without the cremated remains/casket present). Sometimes an "open house" at the home for friends and family to gather and reflect can be just as meaningful as an expensive funeral...but at a fraction of the cost. Urns, memorial cards, register books, acknowledgement cards, picture frames with easels are available. An online death announcement is included in our services to you. Do you need more services that we can provide but don't want to pay for expensive caskets? You are under no obligation to buy caskets, burial vaults or urns from your funeral home provider. Funeral homes can not refuse (or charge an additional fee) to accept caskets purchased somewhere else. Through new 2012 legislation, and without changing the integrity of the business, LeClair Cremation Centre Inc. is now able to offer an economical merchandise solution to those families wishing to have a traditional funeral.
