Grace

First we glimpse it, then we recognize it, then we know it as ours. Then we embrace it, and bask in its beautiful glow. And then it starts to radiate from us, and we see it as a part of who we are. This is the process of our spiritual growth. With grace comes love and patience and acceptance and reverence. It’s awesome!

A THANKSGIVING MEDITATION

As you gather with your friends and family over the Thanksgiving meal, pause and share a moment of meditation. This meditation script reminds us of the many reasons to be grateful for the little things, the everyday occurrences that, when noticed, build a beautiful life. As you read and recite the words, notice the visualizations that move through your minds eye. Let them come and go, just be with the pictures, emotions, and sensations that arise:

Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire.
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?
Be thankful when you don't know something,
for it gives you the opportunity to learn.

Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.
Be thankful for your limitations,
because they give you opportunities for improvement.
Be thankful for each new challenge,
because it will build your strength and character.

Be thankful for your mistakes.
They will teach you valuable lessons.
Be thankful when you're tired and weary,
because it means you've made a difference.

It's easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘆𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱⁠
This is an actual image of a breathtaking phenomena 650 lightyears away from planet Earth in the constellation of Aquarius, called a Helix Nebula.⁠

What you see is the result of the explosion of a star creating many white dwarf stars. White dwarf stars have the same amount of mass as the sun compressed into bodies the size of the Earth. ⁠
⁠
The white dwarfs have an intense ultraviolet radiation that causes the layers of the gas they eject to glow resulting in this stunning and spectular sight that can be seen through a good quality telescope. ⁠

We live in a miraculous Universe with so much beauty and wonder. To us this 'Eye of God' is an invitation to keep our eyes and hearts wide open to see the beauty as we make our journey through life, no matter how challenging it may be at times. When we approach life with this attitude it opens a communion with the cosmic power of love as our guiding light. ⁠
