It’s Day Two of Welcoming New Businesses to Downtown Midland! 🎉

We’re so excited to shine a spotlight on our next newcomer: New 2 You Thrift Store , now open at 248 King Street! ♻️👚

This charming thrift store is run by the amazing mother–daughter duo, Cameron and Jamie, and it’s already filled with treasures waiting to be discovered.

Why open a thrift store? They believe in making life a little more affordable for local families while also doing their part for the planet. By giving clothes and goods a second life, they’re helping keep more items out of the landfill and into the hands of those who need them most.

🕓 Donations accepted daily from 4–5 p.m.
📅 Or message them to book a custom drop-off time
💵 Clothing is affordably priced, with a few exceptions for specialty pieces
🛍️ You’ll find more than just clothing here

🎉 It’s an extra exciting week here in Downtown Midland because we get to say “Welcome to the Neighbourhood!” not once, but twice!

First up, we’re thrilled to welcome The Rustic Tub , now open at 258 King Street! 🛁✨

This fun and fabulous bath and body shop brings handmade, small-batch goodness right to the heart of downtown. Everything is made in-store by owners Brenden and Stephen, and it’s all:
🌿 Vegan and cruelty-free
🚫 Paraben and phthalate-free
🌎 As eco-friendly as possible

You’ll find everything from bath bombs to skincare, plus their laundry refillery is already up and running to help you reduce waste while keeping things fresh and clean.

And starting in 2026, they’ll be launching DIY workshops where you can make your own products. Perfect for birthdays, bridal parties, or team outings with a hands-on experience.
