To our valued patients:
During the current COVID-19 pandemic, our concern is for your health and safety.
We are currently open, Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm.
PLEASE CALL OUR OFFICE (705-527-0940) PRIOR TO COMING IN.
We are available to care for your urgent health and safety needs. This includes repairs of hearing aids, supplies to keep your hearing aids functioning, and also includes some Audiology services if flagged as 'urgent' by your Physician.
At this time, we do have some sanitizing options for your hearing aids available for purchase. If you have concerns or questions regarding how to keep your devices sanitized, please call our office and speak with Leo (705-527-0940).

We wish everyone the best during this difficult time. Please do not hesitate to call us with any Audiology or hearing aid related questions!

Please be assured, that as an Audiology clinic, we are following not only Federal and Provincial government regulations and Public Health recommendations, but we are also following the recommendations of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) regarding best practices for safe patient care.

What do we hear?? The recent social media "Yanny" vs "Laurel" controversy highlights the need to hear ALL the sounds of speech. In the sample below, as you move the slider towards the word "Laurel", you'll start to hear "Laurel"... why? because you are hearing more low-frequency speech sounds, less of the higher-frequency sounds.... Not unlike the way a person with a high-frequency hearing loss may misunderstand speech in everyday conversation. Fortunately, for those with hearing loss, the good news is that help is available!! If you need more clarity in everyday conversations, contact us for information!
