When we promise a year, we usually imagine plans, goals, excitement, milestones. We expect it to deliver something concrete.

But when a year illuminates, it doesn’t necessarily give you what you asked for and it reveals things instead.
At least this one has left me wiser, even if it didn’t feel this way at first.
