Heading offline until Jan 5th to attend a silent retreat.

This practice reminds me that we are in constant change. The cycle of life in perpetual renewal. These moments of silence draw me into the present with every breath. It’s reminds me that from the most microscopic part of each cell we are connected to the macro of our common human existence on this earth, in this universe.

I’m about to step away from the daily grind into 10 days of silence.
A meditation practice that I began in 2014 when a dear friend recommended is now an annual reTREAT.
Yes, it’s hard! Probably one of the hardest things I’ve done but I always come out feeling a deep sense of peace.
In the transition of the seasons, I want to take a moment to dig deep into my roots to then blossom into the light. To care for myself is to care for others.
