"Creating Resiliency Together" is an upcoming 8 week art therapy group for women who have survived experiences of sexual abuse/violence.

Held in-person at atelier lanterne, Montreal, participants will be guided through creative directives to explore, express, and move complex emotions that have been held or stuck. Art can express what is beyond words, putting form to what is intangible, providing insight, understanding, and relief.

Sharing at own pace, with no pressure to disclose. No previous art making skills are necessary. This group is for self connection while also connecting to a sense of solidarity, relating, and compassion amongst other women.

A support group for women to process and heal from childhood or adult experiences of sexual violence. A safe space to explore how trauma has impacted one's sense of self, the nervous system & body, and relationships.

Through peer support, group dialogue, and exploring creative process/guided art making, participants will have an opportunity to process, reflect, and discover new aspects of coping and supporting a healthy self.

Change, loss, transformation, renewal.
I had befriended this mural outside my studio window, the traveller seemed so fitting for the work I was doing together with clients inside. The other day I sat in shock watching it get covered with a white base coat of paint. I'm excited now to watch the new mural slowly come to life.
