✨ HAPPY NOVEMBER ✨
As the new month begins, I’m reflecting on what goals I set for Q4 2024.
I didn’t want to wait for the new year to get started. I figured why not try and I still healthy habits now? This way, when my mat leave is over in the new year, I’ve already got some good habits set!
Let’s see how it’s going so far:
✨ HEALTH ✨
In terms of workouts & walks, I’ve totally been killing it. I’ve consistently done 3 workouts a week in the last 4 weeks (shoutout to and ), walks have been done 1-2x a day, but for the yoga classes.. ouff.. I’m having a tough time taking the time to go 😅. With always being with the baby and my partner working, it’s a bit hard.
For the sugars, it’s been going decently well. I can’t say I’m perfect, but I’ve definitely cut down. Mostly only had it we were with guests or someone’s birthday :)
✨MENTAL✨
The reading, I went strong for the first two weeks, now it’s on and off unfortunately. However, if I don’t read one day, I somehow manage to read for a longer period of time the next day. So really it all rounds out 😃
For the hobby, I really wanted to do colouring books (yes, the TikTok people got to me lol), but I’m just so tired at the end of the day I just want to be a potato watching tv 🥔 📺
As for the earplugs, I feel guilty wearing them because what if I can’t hear the baby?? But I’ve been wearing them when his dad is home and it’s helped A LOT. I don’t have to hear the kitchen, the sports on tv, the dog, the baby all in full volume and it really helps me calm the mind. I might look into getting the engage because I think those would help with my fear of not hearing the baby hehe.
