Ça m’a rassurée, stade 2. Je me sentais libérée.

SPECIAL MARCH 3rd
In celebration of the Lunar eclipse we will explore sound in our Tuesday evening class.
Restorative yoga offers many tools to support a healthy nervous system. In this class we will use some of them to settle the body and the breath, and sound techniques to settle the heart and mind. Sound works to soothe the Vagal Nerve and helps us access the same benefits as meditation in the breath and mind.
There will be no extra charge for this special class, we will be accepting donations for CURE FOUNDATION for breast cancer.
In studio or online.
Go to the regular class schedule to book- space is limited.

MEET LYNN

"I teach so that others can fully experience themselves — not by escaping, but by meeting themselves consistently.
I’m here to make Ashtanga more accessible for the modern student. I honor the traditional method while thoughtfully adapting it so that anyone can benefit from the practice.
I guide students into a practice that is precise and intentional, where strength, awareness, and resilience are built both on and off the mat.
My mission is to help people feel more regulated, more capable, and more at home in their bodies. Ultimately, I see myself as a vehicle — someone who helps others turn inward, reconnect, and cultivate a steady, sustainable relationship with themselves.

⭐THANK YOU!!! ⭐
What is the saying- It feels good to just be nominated..... true.
BUT being voted number one feels GREAT!!!
We have been around forever, 26 years now, being recognised for our quality teaching and staying true to the tradition of yoga says a lot.

We are not trying to be the most popular studio in Montreal.
We are not built on trends, intensity for intensity’s sake, or performance yoga.
We are here to teach practice that is intelligent, sustainable, and deeply transformative.
AYM exists to offer traditional Ashtanga and Ashtanga inspired classes in a way that feels safe, approachable, and human.

Saturday February 21st
AURA PHOTO POPUP
Join Angélique for a unique experience
Aura photography is a beautiful way to witness the beauty of our auric field, an aspect of ourselves that for most of us usually remains unseen. The colors of the aura are captured with the help of a specialized camera developed in the 70’s in California. The hands are positioned on silver hand plates which then fires off electromagnetic pulses into the acupressure points of the hands, then the vibrations are then measured in hertz and ultimately translated into the appropriate color and position associated with that vibration. Through the unique visual representation of our energy field, we can gain insight and validation of our current human experience. Energy flows where attention goes and an aura photo is here to reveal that beauty back to us in a way that serves and empowers us.

"I look forward to seeing you in all your splendor"

This Saturday explore the foundations of this practice with The 8 Limb Path

February 14th 2-5 pm
Live or on zoom- recordings available

This workshop is designed for 200-hour teacher training students and explores the eight limbs as presented by Patanjali in the classical Yoga Sutras. Terri has practiced yoga most of her life and has been teaching since the early 2000s. She holds a BA from Concordia University in Eastern Religions and South Asian Studies, and—unsatisfied with formal education alone—has spent many years studying history, philosophy, and language with teachers in India as well as through self-directed study.

Terri weaves scriptural sources together with historical, sociological, and political perspectives to help students interpret the texts and apply their meaning to contemporary life. She encourages critical thinking and challenges common assumptions. While this session is theory-based, discussion, interaction, and the students’ interests will shape its direction.
