Rest isn’t being lazy. It’s being intentional. It’s understanding that the nervous system needs space to reset if you actually want to perform well. When you slow down, breathe properly, and let the body soften, you’re giving it a chance to adapt instead of just survive. Without recovery, all that hard work just piles up.
Most injuries don’t come out of nowhere. They build up when we ignore the small signals like the tight hip, the nagging shoulder, the fatigue that doesn’t go away. If you pay attention early, you can adjust before it turns into something that forces you to stop completely.
