Tao Sangha Montréal is one of ten centers in the world that engage in spiritual development, healing, training and charitable activities. There are three interconnected components (see below) of Tao Sangha, all with the same spirit and simple mission. Wada-ji Sangha Temple is dedicated in guiding people in the meditation practices of Buddhist devotional chanting. The Temple is a 501(c)3 non-profit
organization, non-denominational and open to all. Weekly Chanting sessions, 12 week courses of Buddha School and Pure land School, as well as 1 day and weekend retreats are given regularly. New Year's Eve and seasonal chanting events and ceremonies are offered along with free introductions. Tao Shiatsu is the revival or the original hands-on Oriental medical therapy developed by Japanese Master Ryokyu Endo. The treatments alleviate stress, boost energy and treat ailments from their source. Introductory classes and complete shiatsu practitioner training are given at the Tao Sangha Center. Free 2-hour experiential introductions are offered regularly. Global Uni Community is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of individuals, families and communities. GUC provides classes and fundraising activities, as well as assistance to people in need, locally and internationally.
