Endoscopic carpal tunnel release surgery is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat carpal tunnel syndrome. In this condition, the median nerve in the wrist becomes compressed, causing pain, tingling, and numbness in the hand and fingers.

During the procedure, a small incision is made in the wrist, and an endoscope (a thin tube with a camera) is inserted to allow the surgeon to visualize the inside of the wrist.
