People often ask, “What does Reiki actually feel like?”
Everyone’s experience is unique, but here’s what many describe:

🌸 A wave of warmth and relaxation, you may feel like your floating, or that you have sunk right into the table
🌸 Gentle tingling or pulsing sensations, you may get goosebumps or feel cold, or waves of warmth

✨ No Booze November Check-In! ✨

It’s been one week today 🎉 Congratulations!
Besides having insomnia 😴, I’m doing pretty well.
Not sure if it’s the full moon 🌕, age 👵🏼, or just this time of year 🍁, but holy moly, it's been all week!

These days, I never know what’s waiting for me around the corner 🤷🏼‍♀️

So while we’re staying strong this No Booze November, let’s show our digestive system a little extra love 💚

Here are a few ways to support your gut this month:

🥄 Start your day with a flax cocktail
1 TBS of flax in water, stir and swallow...it doesn’t suck, I promise 😅

🥬 Add in a green juice
Blend coconut water, spinach, celery, cucumber, ginger, lemons 🍋 & honey 🍯 strain & drink immediately!

💧 Drink water with lemon
Lemon enzymes prep your stomach for digestion and wake up your intestines 🌞

🥗 Love your vinegars
Go for apple cider vinegar + sea salt 🧂 or a drizzle of balsamic 😋

🥒 Fermented foods = happy gut
Kimchi, sauerkraut, and plain yogurt for the win 💚

🚰 Hydrate like it’s your job
Minimum 3 liters of water daily 💦

🌾 Hot cereals for cozy mornings
Oatmeal, cream of rice, or cream of wheat, add 2 eggs 🥚 for extra protein 💪

🍠 Choose whole foods
Skip the processed & deep-fried stuff 🚫🍟

🥦 Fiber first
Steam or roast veggies lightly 🌱 easier on your gut and packed with goodness

🥑 Full fats are your friend
Avocados, coconut oil, nuts & seeds. An avocado a day keeps the doctor away 😉💚

No Booze November Liver Support!

Our liver is the gatekeeper to our bodies and our health! Removing alcohol is probably one of the best ways you can say thank you to your liver for supporting you this long.

Additional ways to love your liver:

Add in milk thistle supplements for the next three weeks while you omit alcohol. Want to turn up the volume? Add in Ashwagandha for 3 weeks too.

Drink a green juice daily or weekly. Don't have time to juice? Just add in fresh squeezed lemon to your water and drink within 15 min of squeezing! The enzymes go to clean your liver and prime your digestive system.

Flush your toxins by staying well hydrated
Drink half your body weight in oz of water. If you are 150 lbs. Drink 75 oz of water to stay hydrated. Or aim for 3L a day. Yes, you will pee...a lot...but this is how we flush out the alcohol toxins.

For an elite level of detox, add in a tsp of chlorophyll once a day. Dilute with water. This little teaspoon of antioxidants is a powerhouse for your guts!

For those of you participating in No Booze November here are some survival tips for that "witching hour"

1. Pick an anchor. This is your symbol, song or smell that reminds you why you wanted to do this in the first place. ⚓️

2. Have a plan. What can you do to get past the craving? Have tea or carbonated water on hand . Go for a walk or do something that distracts you. Exercise really helps to give you a dopamine hit which mitigates the wine o clock want. 🏃‍♀️

3. Journal. Write down you top three to five health goals and review them daily. 📖
