Hello Ottawa,

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the upcoming closing of Cajano Physio.

Cajano Physiotherapy Clinics Inc., known as Cajano Physio, was founded to help all those in our community and Ottawa-Gatineau in general who require physiotherapy services.

There is a great need for physiotherapy in our community, schools, health care facilities, senior residences, medical centers, and hospitals in Canada's National Capital Region. The increase in the senior population only increases this need.

Proudly open, Cajano Physio is equipped to serve you with the best care and a high level of professionalism. This is a state-of-the-art clinic. Now, we are faced with the reality of the Covid-19 pandemic that is slowing down our economy, and therefore our momentum as a new emerging business.

With this in mind, we applied for a business loan from the FACE Coalition over a month ago and never received any communication from our loan officer. We also asked to contact the CEO of the organization to explain our situation that we described as critical, but to our surprise, this was impossible at this point according to their staff.

We also contacted our MP and we are still waiting for a favorable response from her.

We are aware of the great effort the Liberal government is making to help black-owned businesses.

We continue to hope that more black-owned businesses will be able to benefit from the business loans that are available to the Black entrepreneurial community from east to west in order to revive and build a stronger Canadian economy than ever before.

We thank you for your support and encouragement throughout our opening.

Before we leave you, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Mark Reimer of The Reimer Clinic who has been a great help to us. Dr. Reimer is medical specialist, a pioneer in the colonoscopy field, and we have been privileged to have his advices regarding some topics related to our clinic.

Thank you to all of our business partners who have been there to make the business run smoothly.

Finally, a big thank you to the patients who have trusted us with their physiotherapy treatment. It was a pleasure to provide physiotherapy treatment to all of you.
