? Who would you trust to make your healthcare decisions? April 16th is the Canadian National Advance Care Planning Day.

It is a day for you and others to reflect on decisions you would like made about your health care, should you be unable to speak for yourself. Advance Care Planning Day provides an opportunity to open up a conversation with a loved one about their wishes for end of life care - or it might remind you to review your own plan.

Did you know the Comox Valley Hospice Society offers free, one-on-one Advance Care Planning assistance?

You can meet with a trained volunteer for up to an hour to discuss your wishes and get help with your advance care plan. These confidential, in-person meetings are held at their office in Ocean Front Village on the last Thursday of every month. To sign up for one of these complimentary appointments, please call the office or email reception@comoxhospice.com.
