Summer is doing AMAZING!!! she’s gaining weight slowly but finally gaining she’s 17lbs5oz!!! ❤️❤️ She will have a Echo in a few months to hopefully confirm it’s safe to reduce and perhaps stop some medications!!! Which is awesome!

Summer is still in hospital almost 9 months in now!!!
Summer is 11 months old!!! Her birthday is a month away!! Summer is still on milrinone which is why she’s in hospital still! She’s on .2 they wean it almost weekly but it’s slow! Monday they will go to .1 and than off the following week! Her GJ tube got pulled out so she needs another surgery just to get a new feeding tube it’s scheduled for July 11th but the team is working to get it moved to June 28th!

My hope is she can be home for her birthday or close to it!!!! ❤️💙❤️💙 either way we will visit the picu on her birthday with a gift.❤️💙

Feb 24th Summer was re intubated and moved to the picu!!! She keeps having unexplained fevers!!
Today March 3rd she is still intubated but today she got a shot that attached a dye that glows to her white blood cells so on Monday she will have a scan and wherever these glow and gather is where an infection is present.

Prayers and support are appreciated!!!!

One of the strongest people I know is my little girl Summer!!! She’s been through so much I’m her 6 almost 7months of life. She’s been in hospital for almost 4months! And will be there for abit longer! We are now back at our hospital Cheo and working on feedings(with the NG) feeding tube! Summer can’t try any oral feedings till after she does a swallow study.

Summer got off her highflow alittle over a week ago. She’s been in isolation for a week as she caught Rhinovirus while in hospital, and is just starting to get over that.

She’s 13lbs6oz as of today!!! ❤️ she will be 7months in 4days💙
