Our beliefs are assumptions we hold about ourselves and the world, were ingrained in us since we were little children. Most of these beliefs come from early experiences, like how we were treated by our family, friends, and society.
Even though we might not consciously think about them, these beliefs are still working in the background, affecting the way we perceive ourselves and the world around us.

Splitting is a term that pertains to personality disorders, mainly BPD. Anyone can be agitated or upset in a normal way by these things. The way people with BPD feel is heightened and extreme. These things can cause a downward spiral for them. Being upset by these does not mean you have BPD.

As the Founder and Lead Psychotherapist of Third Wave Psychotherapy, her practice is grounded in trauma-informed care, third-wave cognitive-behavioural therapies, and culturally sensitive approaches.

Drawing from both academic training and professional experience, Zoubida offers a therapeutic style defined by empathy, non-judgment, and authenticity—three core values that shape her connection with clients. She works primarily with adults and provides services in both English and French.
