PSO’s practicum students, Rachel and Joscelyn, are hosting an in-person discussion event on March 25th . They are inviting peers to meet, connect and share experiences with medical invalidation in healthcare. Let's take the opportunity to discuss topics like how medical dismissal can impact mental health, how weight and gender can alter experiences with caregiving professionals, and tools for self-advocacy and self-care. On November 20th at 5pm, join us in person or virtually to hear what PSO has been up to, approve our Financial Audit and to vote in 5 new Board of Directors. To be eligible to vote your membership form has to be returned to us by Nov. 19th and you must be a member for minimum 30 days. Those who are able to join us in person will also be able to enjoy some pizza for dinner!
