Hey everyone! It's me Vesta, from Vesta’s Photography

I figured because fb was giving me such a hard time about changing my Page name, I start fresh with a new page, with new intentions. I started off entering the birth world by capturing the moments families shared in their birth space. But quickly realized, I wanted to offer more hands on work. So here I am, finally diving into the birth world as a doula worker. I had done my Doula training in 2016 with Mother Witt, and so desperately wanted to start up my Doula business. However, being a mom of 2 at the time, a partner on shift work and little family support, was not an option.
Now, mom of 4 kiddos, my partner working a regular hours and more support from family, I can offer my time to those who need guidance, emotional support and the encouragement through the hardest moments labor has to offer.
I will still be offering birth photography as well if families wish to have the service at the same time! And YES, maternity and newborn session will still be at the heart of Vesta's Photography! I don't think i could ever leave that behind!
So who is ready for birth content or wanting to know more about my birth support?
I can't wait to get started!

The goal for most is to birth without fear. To feel prepared for what is to come. But to also experience and cherish the labours of love. When birth is welcomed in a space of peace, love and empowerment, we can achieve anything. My experience in birth is to make sure you have all your needs and emotions tended to and to guide you through what ever birth brings

Sounds of birth. These are great videos but always keep in mind birth is different for every woman. And sounds are different as well. We all manage labour differently and it’s all beautiful.

Birth and postpartum worlds are beautiful space to be in. Sometimes we need a gentle reminder to get back in touch with our strengths and be uplifted and encouraged with our bodies. Families need support and love when bringing a baby into the world. Even after baby has arrived.

So who am I? Mom of 4 kiddos, with my own experience in hospital, birth centre and home birth. I have some back ground in ECE and birth doula training. I’ve attended and guided parents through traumatic births, sudden quick births and “text book” births.
I like to think I can help families the best way possible for a positive birth experience, through pain management, emotion support and through providing information. I have a passion to capture maternity, birth and newborn photography.
But I’m ready to start working more into the birth doula world and leaving my camera behind if families choose this option. I can’t wait to hear your past birth stories, or if this is you first, hearing what you hope you birth story will be like, and to see where I can help you.
