🌸🔍 Spring Scavenger Hunt Fun! 🔍🌸

Our residents embraced the beauty of the season with a lively Spring Scavenger Hunt throughout the home in the month of April! From spotting colourful flowers to finding hidden seasonal treasures, there were smiles, laughter, and a little friendly competition along the way.

It was a wonderful way to get moving, spark curiosity, and celebrate all things spring together. 🌷💛

Our April Calendar is here!

April is jam packed with fun events and socials! You don’t want to miss out...

April 3rd- Is Good Friday. Some of the management team will be off for the STAT holiday, but we will have Nurses, PSW’s and a receptionist on duty

April 6th- Is our Easter Bunny Hop! Peter Foret is performing at 2pm in our Piano Lounge so hop on down the bunny trail, shake that cotton tail and join us for an Easter Party. All are welcome to join!

April 7th - In honor of National Beer Day, we are hosting our Beer and Billiard’s Social Hour at 2pm in Tony’s Cafe.

April 8th- Is Part II of our End of Life Planning Seminar with the Beth Donovan Hospice. Starting at 2pm on the 3rd floor Mezzanine with the topic of Advanced Care Planning

This is also the International Day of PINK so wear your rose colored best for the pinkest day of the year.

April 10th and 11th- The management team will be at the EY Center for the Spring 55+ Lifestyle Show.

April 16th- Roses 123facials is back for their Spring Skincare session. Free makeovers and facials starting at 10:30am in the Spa.

April 18th- The Flores Family is back for their Happy Hearts Hour outside the Dining Room at 1pm.

April 22nd - Is Earth Day! A fun filled day with Earth themes events, livestreams all day long on the 3rd floor, puzzles and crafts and so much more!

April 23rd- We are thrilled to have a FREE Psychotherapy Group Session for those experiencing grief, loneliness and isolation. Sign Up is required, 2pm on the 3rd floor.

April 25th- Companli is here for a presentation on Senior Services and a Meet and Greet with the team. Learn about friendly visits for seniors, appointment assistance and driving, small tasks and housekeeping, companionship and so much more. 2pm on the 3rd floor Mezzanine

Residents enjoyed an engaging and enlightening astronomy talk with Frank Hitchens, exploring the wonders of the night sky and the mysteries of the universe and the history of the Hubble Telescope.

From distant galaxies to familiar constellations, it was a fascinating journey that sparked curiosity and great conversation.

Thank you to the OPS for the amazing presentation on Scams and Fraud Prevention For Seniors.

It was wonderful to learn about what is real and what is false, how to avoid scams and determine what is real or not.
