Heartfulness Ottawa had the wonderful opportunity to participate in today’s curtain raiser event hosted by the celebrating the upcoming 11th International Day of Yoga.🧘🙏

With the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health,” the event brought together yoga experts, community leaders, and wellness advocates.🌍🧘‍♂️

We were grateful for the chance to share about Heartfulness and offer a glimpse into our practice through a brief guided relaxation session, allowing participants to experience a few moments of calm and inner stillness.

Shri Ram Chandra of Fatehgarh (1873–1931), affectionately known as Lalaji, was a revered saint and spiritual teacher. Trained in Sufism and Raja Yoga, he revolutionized spirituality by modernizing ancient yogic practices. His most significant contribution was reviving the lost art of Transmission (Pranahuti), a method for transforming human consciousness.

Lalaji’s influence extended across philosophy, psychology, and natural sciences, though his full impact is yet to be recognized. He established the Sahaj Marg Raja Yoga tradition, mentoring his successor, Shri Ram Chandra of Shahjahanpur (Babuji), who further refined his teachings into the Heartfulness Way, making spirituality accessible to all.

This year we are celebrating the 152nd birth anniversary of Pujya Lalaji Maharaj as Adi Shakti Mahotsav. Let us all ourselves in the teachings and he left for us, embracing the path of inner transformation and spiritual evolution.
