Merivale Cat Hospital The Cat Hospitals: Ottawa's only veterinary hospitals devoted exclusively to cats! At Merivale Cat Hospital, we exclusively see cats!

That means there are no barking dogs in the waiting room who can upset your cats! Our cat-only veterinary hospital is dedicated to the health and well-being of your feline family. The Merivale Cat Hospital is in its 25th year and was founded by Dr. Doug Boeckh. He and Dr. Chermain Yui make up our team of cat-loving veterinarians.

*We have temporarily suspended taking new patients in an effort to provide timely care for our current patients. Our veterinary and technical team has experience treating a wide range of cat personalities, from the very nervous to the very grouchy. We are equipped with an in-house laboratory, X-ray machine, full anesthetic, surgical suite, and dental facilities. Ultrasonography and endoscopy can be arranged if needed. Turkey? More like purr-key! We will be closed on Monday, October 13th, to observe Thanksgiving Day.

If your cat needs urgent care when we are closed, visit www.cathospitals.net for guidance. We partnered with Smart.Vet to offer a free, 24-hour, after-hours phone triage service (647-695-5411). You can talk with a registered veterinary technician (RVT) to help determine if your cat requires immediate care.

It’s the season of rising hope! It's Farley Month, and we are excited to fundraise for the Farley Foundation again! We accept cash donations in the clinic and online donations.
