Your back pain is not going away, and you are starting to wonder if you have been treating the wrong problem.

Facet joint pain and disc pain can feel almost the same, but they behave very differently. That difference matters more than most people realize.

In this video, I show you how to tell them apart using clear pain patterns and movement triggers. You will learn why facet joint pain often stays on one side and gets worse with certain movements, and how disc pain may travel down the leg when a nerve is involved.

Once you understand the difference, you may start to see why some treatments have not worked and what approach may make more sense for your situation.

Your back pain is not improving, no matter what you try.
And the biggest mistake you may be making is assuming it is a disc problem.

Facet joint pain and disc pain often feel almost identical. That is where people get stuck. You may spend months chasing the wrong treatment while your pain stays exactly the same.

In this video, I walk you through the key differences between these two conditions so you can finally understand what your body is telling you. You will learn how facet joint pain behaves with movement, why it often stays localized, and what patterns make it different from disc-related pain. I also explain how disc pain tends to travel, especially when a nerve is involved, and what triggers to watch for.

Once you understand these patterns, you may start to see why certain treatments have not been working for you. More importantly, you will know what type of treatment may actually match your condition and help move things in the right direction.

If your goal is to stop guessing and start making smarter decisions about your back pain, this is something you need to see.

Progress in your health is rarely linear, and that is completely normal. There will be weeks where you feel strong and weeks where old patterns creep back in. What matters most is staying consistent with the habits that support you, including your care. Every visit matters.

Cutting-edge research shows chronic low back pain isn't always about damaged tissues. Your nervous system can get 'stuck' on high alert, creating pain signals even when healing has occurred.

This explains why so many people are told their MRI looks fine while they are still struggling to tie their shoes in the morning.

Pain is information. But when you endure chronic physical stress and continuous dysfunction, the volume dial on that information gets jammed at maximum.

Your body actually learns the pain.

Most conventional treatments try to shut off the alarm by masking the symptoms with medication. They ignore the underlying fire causing the alarm in the first place. When six different things are out of alignment or under extreme stress, treating just one of them guarantees failure.

We need to reset the system entirely.

That means mapping out the exact root causes and applying neuro-functional chiropractic care to remove the physical interference. Then we combine that with specific lifestyle modifications to bring your nervous system out of that constant state of high alert.

The body heals when it can function as designed.

Have you been told to just learn to live with your chronic back pain? Drop a comment below and let me know, or share this with someone who needs to hear that functional restoration is still possible.

Most people know that prolonged sitting is hard on the back, but the effect goes deeper than posture. Research has found that extended static positions reduce the pumping action that moves fluid through spinal discs, which is how those discs receive nutrients. Movement breaks are not just good for your muscles. They are genuinely necessary for disc health over the long term.

Imagine waking up free from low back stiffness and moving effortlessly. Your daily routine can become your strongest back protector, not its enemy.
Transform your low back in minutes daily.

People often assume serious back problems happen because of one bad lift or a sudden twist on the golf course.

They usually happen because of hundreds of tiny errors you make every single day. The way you sit at your desk or how you roll out of bed compounds over time, forcing your body to adapt to whatever position you hold most often. If that position is slouched over a keyboard for eight hours, your spine pays a heavy price.

You have the power to protect your joints. You just need a few micro-habits that take under two minutes.

Morning movement dictates your entire day. Before you even put your feet on the floor, do a few gentle knee sways side to side. It lubricates the joints after hours of being static.

Then look at your desk setup.
➔ Keep your monitor exactly at eye level
➔ Place your feet completely flat on the ground

When you transition from sitting to standing, push up with your legs instead of leaning heavily on your lower back. That tiny adjustment saves your discs from unnecessary compression.

Evening wind-down is equally crucial. Lie flat on your back with your knees bent for just two minutes before getting into bed. Let gravity take the pressure off your spine.

Health is controlled. It comes from the choices you make consistently. Masking symptoms with pills only delays the inevitable, but removing the daily stress on your joints actually allows your body to heal and function properly.

Your body has a natural ability to heal and regulate itself, and the nervous system is the coordinator of all of it. When spinal joints are not moving freely, that coordination can be compromised in subtle ways, affecting everything from muscle recovery to how well you handle daily physical stress. Chiropractic care works by restoring the conditions that let that system do its job.
