🎨 Art Not Arms 2025 Winners 🎉

This August 6th and 9th marks 80 years since the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. We remember not only the devastation of nuclear weapons, but the responsibility we share to build a different future.

This year, IPPNWC honors that memory not just with reflection, but with action, and with art that challenges us to imagine something better.

This year’s Art Not Arms competition invited young artists to reimagine a world without nuclear arms.

These three powerful works rose to the top:
🥇 “The Flaming City” by Ananya Shree
🥈 “Fission” by Zachary Ezekiel Masangkay
🥉 “90 Seconds” by Maria Eduarda de Oliveira

Each work is a bold act of remembrance, resistance, and hope, and a call to recommit to peace, justice, and global disarmament.

🖼️ Thank you to everyone who participated, your submissions were incredible. We will be releasing a digital book by the end of the month featuring all of the artwork submitted.
