Share Community Program is a vocational based learning program for young adults with special needs aimed at empowering each individual to gain confidence & self-efficacy while working as a team to provide motivation and reach a higher level of success. The purpose of our Skill Development Program is to enhance our student’s communication, social, adaptive, and pre-vocational skills. We will do our best to determine individualized goals and settings (either one-one-one or small group) that best suits the needs of the student. We strive to do our best to teach skills that are transferrable across numerous and various environments (i.e., different work environments). The Skill Development Program is designed for individuals 18+ diagnosed with a developmental disability (e.g., Autism, Down Syndrome, intellectual disability, etc.) who will benefit from learning and/or improving new skills. Our program is staffed by individuals who strongly impact the vision of our program. Coming from different professional and educational backgrounds, our staff work together to foster a sense of positivity and growth within our students. To apply for this program, please complete an intake form that’s available on our website under our “SDP Application” tab. Applications will be reviewed upon receipt and accepted applicants will be contacted for an interview (either over the phone or in person).
*Disclaimer: this program is not intended to replace an in home or clinic-based program but instead supplement such programs and other therapy programs that the student may be receiving.*
We are open 5 days a week from 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM. For more information please send us a message or send us an email.
