Gardening week at The Vista on Sparks has brought our community closer together. Gardening is such a grounding activity — it helps you feel connected to nature, calms the soul, and creates the perfect setting for wonderful conversations with fellow gardening pals. Many thanks to our resident Gail Petrie who lead the gardeing committee, to the residents that voluntered, our valet, driver, maintenance team, and Marlene from lifestyles.

The Vista on Sparks is proud to be a sponsor for the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign. This week our team was present and learned about inspiring stories about how this campaign has changed the lives of many.
Grandmothers in Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States have rallied together in response to the crisis faced by grandmothers in Africa, many of whom are raising millions of children orphaned by AIDS.
Through the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign, community groups continue to raise funds that support life-enhancing programs led by grandmothers in Africa and the community-based organizations that stand beside them.

What a remarkable week so far! 👩🏼‍⚕️👨🏽‍⚕️🧑🏻‍⚕️🩵
The Vista on Sparks is celebrating Nurses Week by showing appreciation for the heroes who provide comfort, support, and compassionate care to so many people every day.
Our Sales & Marketing team, Luisa Pichardo and Liana Sukhbir, along with concierge agent Marlene, visited The Ottawa Hospital - L'Hôpital d'Ottawa and Queensway Carleton Hospital and Foundation to deliver essential items and treat boxes to care units. Behind the scenes, the Vista team collaborated by baking fresh cookies, building baskets, and coming together to make this initiative possible.
It was a meaningful opportunity to strengthen community connections, recognize the dedication of healthcare professionals, and give back to those who care for others with such compassion.
