It’s Global Volunteer Month and Marsh Global employees in Halifax, NS are packing with purpose!

These volunteers teamed up with Ronald McDonald House Maritimes to assemble and distribute over 240 snack packs to support families with seriously ill or injured children.

This hands-on group activity addressed food insecurity by preparing practical, thoughtfully selected snack packs to address community needs. Volunteers also had the opportunity to learn more about Ronald McDonald House’s mission and the services it provides.

Thank you to all the volunteers who made this effort possible.

Survey closes May 28th!

The first survey for the National Profile of the Volunteer Engagement Profession closes on May 28, and we are incredibly grateful for the momentum, encouragement, and collaboration we have seen from across Canada.

This project is only possible because of the many organizations, networks, and community partners helping share the message and encourage participation from coast to coast to coast.

Together, we are helping shine a light on the people behind volunteer engagement: the professionals who help create meaningful volunteer experiences, strengthen community connection, and support countless hours of impact every year.

After more than 20 years without national data on this profession, every response matters.

To all of the community partners, implementation partners, sector leaders, and organizations who have shared the survey with your members, networks, and communities, thank you for helping strengthen this important national effort.

There is still time to participate before Survey 1 closes on May 28. And stay tuned for Survey 2.
