Sandy Hill is a quiet, older neighbourhood in east-central Ottawa. An unusually mixed community, its tree-lined streets are home to embassies and diplomatic residences, a large subsidized housing complex, Canada's largest bilingual university, a number of rooming houses, high-rise apartments with large immigrant populations, middle-class and elegant older homes, and homeless people. In serving a bilingual community composed of all income groups, the Sandy Hill Community Health Centre (SHCHC) has attracted clients from all walks of life.

La Côte-de-Sable est un quartier tranquille et historique du centre-est d'Ottawa. Une communauté d'une diversité surprenante, ses rues bordées d'arbres abritent des embassades et des résidences diplomatiques, un grand complexe de logements subventionnés, la plus grande université bilingue du Canada, plusieurs maisons de chambres, des tours d'appartements avec d'importantes populations immigrantes, d'élégantes maisons bourgeoises anciennes et des sans-abri. Servant une communauté bilingue composée de tous niveaux de revenu, le Centre de santé communautaire Côte-de-Sable (CSCCS) attire des clients de tous les milieux.
