📊 Improved health workforce planning needs high-quality standardized workforce data

A new open-access article in Health Policy explores the co-development of an inclusive interprofessional health workforce minimum data standard to support stronger planning and decision-making. Developed through a collaborative four-phase process, the framework identifies core workforce data elements related to capacity, education, and identification, helping strengthen how workforce information is collected and used.

This article was co-authored by several of our network's leads, including Drs Katherine Zagrodney, Dax Bourcier, Neeru Gupta, Sarah Simkin, Houssem Eddine Ben-Ahmed, Brenda Gamble, Kathleen Leslie, Sophia Myles, Arthur Sweetman, Ivy Bourgeault, and more.
