We had a wonderful afternoon on our beautiful outdoor dining patio, soaking in the sunshine and gentle breezes during our Summertime Sereni-Tea High Tea. Surrounded by the calming ambiance of nature, guests enjoyed an elegant selection of teas, delicate finger sandwiches, and decadent pastries. It was the perfect blend of relaxation and refinement—an idyllic escape to savor the slower pace of summer.

We enjoyed a Lovely ladies dinner outing to Red Lobster tonight! The food was delicious, the staff were so kind, and for some of us, it was the first time dining there in years. We even ended up naming a little critter—such a fun night full of laughs and great memories! 🦞

We had a fantastic time celebrating our August birthdays! The day was filled with joy and laughter as Jumping Jimmy brought high-energy entertainment that had everyone smiling. After the fun-filled show, we enjoyed delicious cake and ice cream together. A very Happy Birthday to all of our wonderful residents celebrating this month — we’re so glad we could share this special day with you! 🎉🎂🍦

As part of Rosepark’s ongoing Guest Speaker Series, we were pleased to welcome Christine, a Seniors Advisor, for an informative presentation on fraud and scams. The session focused on common tactics used by scammers, how to identify warning signs, and practical steps we can take to protect ourselves and others.Christine’s expertise and approachable style made the topic both engaging and empowering for everyone who attended.

🇬🇷 Happy Greek Fest! 🇬🇷

Today we immersed ourselves in the rich beauty, history, and flavor of Greece! From exploring breathtaking destinations through a virtual travelogue to diving into fascinating Greek myths and legends, it was a day filled with culture and discovery.

We were treated to not one, but two delicious Greek meals prepared by our very talented General Manager and served by our wonderul culinary team. Lunch was Pork souvlaki with tzatziki served over rice, grilled tomatoes, and a fresh Greek salad. Dinner was Tender braised lamb shank with orzo, green beans, and pearl onions — absolutely amazing!

A big thank you to our General Manager Peter for sharing a stunning collection of Greek icons and traditional instruments for everyone to enjoy. Opa! 🎉🇬🇷💙

Tonight, some of our residents enjoyed their very first Sip and Paint experience! 🎨🍷They learned how to paint a beautiful hot air balloon sunset, following along step by step. Others tapped into their creativity and designed unique masterpieces of their own. It was a fun, relaxing evening filled with laughter, art, and great company—a perfect way for our residents to unwind and express themselves!

🎒 That’s a wrap on Fill a Backpack Week!🎒

This was our very first year participating, and we couldn’t be more proud of how it turned out!

We had a wonderful time supporting the Caring and Sharing Exchange campaign with a week full of fun, nostalgia, and giving back. It was so nice to reminisce about the school days—from our Back to School Snack Café , Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader challenge, to a Throwback Thursday school lunch featuring grilled cheese & tomato soup, and wrapping it all up with Back to School Photo Day!

Thanks to our amazing community, we raised $505 and filled 6 backpacks with school supplies for students in need.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated and helped make this week a success. Your support truly made a difference! 💛📚✏️

We kicked off summer with a Taste of Summer Social, celebrating the season with a delightful spread of refreshing treats. Guests enjoyed fresh fruit skewers bursting with color, sweet and tangy upside-down pineapple mini cakes, an assortment of delicious tarts and refreshing white and red sangria- the perfect way to welcome the sunshine and good vibes of summer.

Our Creative Connections program has been a huge hit! Participants have been diving into their creative sides and learning how to paint beautiful scenes, step by step. From serene landscapes to vibrant flowers, each session has brought out incredible talent and joyful expression. It's been a wonderful way to connect, create, and unwind together through art.

We’ve been loving our Latin Chair Dance program with Michael! 💃🪑🎶 Not only do we dance—we sing, laugh, and have the best time together! His energy is absolutely infectious, and every class is filled with fun, movement, and great music—all from the comfort of a chair! Perfect for all fitness levels, and such a great way to stay active and smile while doing it.

What a perfect summer day for an outdoor patio BBQ lunch! The grill was sizzling with juicy BBQ chicken, served alongside fluffy rice and a fresh, zesty Greek salad—simple, delicious, and full of flavor. After lunch, we hit the road for a scenic afternoon drive, soaking in the beautiful views. Our adventure ended on a sweet note with a stop at the ever-popular Scoops in Pakenham for a well-deserved cold treat. Summer days like this are the best!
