À l’occasion de la Journée mondiale de la santé, l’AIIC se tient aux côtés de l’OMS pour promouvoir le thème « Ensemble pour la santé. Défendons la science. »

Si la profession infirmière est la plus digne de confiance au Canada, c’est notamment parce qu’elle fait le pont entre des données complexes et l’expérience humaine. Mais à l’ère de la désinformation, être un expert discret ne suffit plus. Nous appelons l’ensemble du personnel infirmier et le public à se lever et à défendre la science. Qu’il s’agisse de promouvoir des systèmes de santé résilients face aux changements climatiques ou d’appliquer les plus récentes données probantes au chevet des patients, les infirmières et infirmiers du Canada s’appuient sur la science pour sauver des vies chaque jour.

L’accent mis par l’OMS sur l’approche « Une seule santé » nous rappelle que notre santé est indissociable de celle de notre environnement et de nos communautés. Aujourd’hui, nous rendons hommage aux chercheurs, aux cliniciens et au personnel infirmier de première ligne qui défendent la science afin d’assurer un avenir plus sûr et en meilleure santé pour toutes et tous.
Lorsque nous défendons la science, nous défendons un Canada en meilleure santé.

On World Health Day, the CNA stands in solidarity with the World Health Organization (WHO) to champion the theme, “Together for health. Stand with science.”

Nurses are one of the most trusted professions in Canada for a reason; they bridge the gap between complex data and the human experience. But in an era of misinformation, being a silent expert isn't enough. We call on all nurses and the public to stand up and speak for science. Whether it’s advocating for climate-resilient health systems or applying the latest research at the bedside, Canadian nurses use science to save lives every single day.

The World Health Organization (WHO) 's focus on the One Health approach reminds us that our health is tied to the health of our environment and our communities. Today, we celebrate the researchers, clinicians, and frontline nurses who stand with science to ensure a safer, healthier future for all.

Aujourd’hui, à l’occasion de la Journée des soins infirmiers en oncologie, l’AIIC souligne le thème « Plus forts ensemble : faire progresser les soins infirmiers en oncologie grâce à la collaboration et à l’innovation ».

Au Canada, près de 2 personnes sur 5 recevront un diagnostic de cancer au cours de leur vie. Derrière chacune de ces statistiques se trouve un membre du personnel infirmier en oncologie qui offre l’expertise et la compassion nécessaires pour traverser les moments les plus difficiles.
Partout au pays, le personnel infirmier en oncologie fait bien plus que prodiguer des traitements, il fait avancer l’innovation et offre des soins de grande qualité, empreints de compassion, qui améliorent les résultats pour les personnes et leurs proches.

Merci pour votre leadership, votre expertise et votre engagement. 💙
