We’ve lost reverence for the Masculine.
Patriarchy. Toxic masculinity. Even the word God turns people off. The very energy of the Masculine has been cast as dangerous, shameful, or unwanted.
And yes, there’s truth in that. Men have caused harm. War. R**e. Domination. Manipulation. Betrayal. I carry my own wounds with men, and that’s a big part of why I run a men’s group. To unwind some of this tension. Not because I believe men are the problem, but because I know men are also part of the solution.
But our culture has gone further. Instead of revering God or honoring Mother Nature, we worship status, money, and consumerism... fragile idols of Ego. False gods that will never sustain us, never bring peace, never ground us in truth.
No wonder we’re starving for reverence.
We can’t heal these wounds by ignoring them. We need to face the shadow, own the harm, and create space for repair. That work is messy. It won’t happen overnight. But it is necessary.
And alongside the repair, we must restore reverence. Because men thrive on celebration. When a man’s courage, growth, and devotion are seen, he rises even higher. We need to celebrate the men who are doing the work to be better fathers, stronger leaders, more loving partners.
Few men have the courage to face themselves. Many still hide or numb out, and we pray for them daily.
But we also celebrate the ones who step into the fire. The men who choose growth, service, and living from Soul.
Thank you to all you men out there, whether part of The GRounded Man or not - if you're doing this work, we celebrate you.
💥 Today I invite you: celebrate a man in your life. Tag him below. Share how he’s impacted you. Let’s bring reverence for the Masculine back into our culture.
